Welcome to a new update about the fertiliser and biostimulant legislations!
This update talks about Alaska in the United States of America and it is quite unique as Alaska does not have any specific registration procedure for products categorized as animal feed, fertilizer, plant food, or soil amendments, including biostimulants.
Meaning that this is our shortest update to date. Should you wish to sell a biostimulant on the Alaskan market, we advise you to get in touch with the authorities directly. To that purpose, we share the link to the relevant authorities in Alaska :
"The Alaska Division of Agriculture currently does not require state registration for products categorized as animal feed, fertilizer, plant food, or soil amendments. That includes biostimulants, which are generally treated under those broad categories. Federal "Truth in Labeling" laws apply statewide.
Please check out our informtation for USA in general (include link) and in case you have a precise question, get in touch with the Alaskan Agriculture office..."
