"The regulatory situation as regards to biostimulants has been changing recently (in 2025):
The Burkina Faso government adopted a new law ([ Loi n°010-2025/ALT (adopted 4 July 2025) ]) that aims at better controlling fertilisers in the country.
That new law now covers also bio-fertilisers, liquid and organic fertilisers, thus enabling the regulation of what is generally called “biostimulants” as well.”.
