Biostimulants legislation - regulatory support for biostimulants

      NEW Legislation Update : Norway

Welcome to a new update about the fertiliser and biostimulant legislations in Norway !

Here's the beginning of it :

"In Norway, biostimulants and fertilisers that are not covered by the EU fertiliser Regulation (EU 2019/1009) are regulated under national legislation.

EU CE‑marked fertilisers and biostimulants under Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 can be placed on the Norwegian market, even though Norway is not a EU Member State, but you must follow Norwegian-specific procedures and requirements. Mind you, Plant health certificates are often required for biostimulants with organic materials.

Biostimulants currently don't need registration, but labeling, quality and hygiene rules still apply. All other fertilisers must be registered before sale."
